Next Medical Staffing has several new employee engagement and retention efforts underway.

The company launched its Health Carousel University last year to provide employees more resources to develop their careers, as well as a Manager Essentials training program, said Johanna Krogh Senior employee engagement specialist.

Other employee engagement efforts included a Masquerade Gala to celebrate company milestones and recognize top performances; a peanut butter drive to donate 1,500 pounds to the Dayton PB&J Project; and a Summer Office Olympics event to help support local veterans.

“We value our employees as our number one asset and we support them as individuals,” Krogh said. “Our Personal Well-Being Program, with four pillars of Professional, Physical, Financial, and Social, gives our employees all the resources to achieve their personal and professional best.”

Within the well-being program are activities such as blood drives, yoga and CPR classes; free concert tickets; back-offs; and a 401(k) match.

Krogh said the company this year will increase its number of paid holidays, paid time off, and employees surveys to garner feedback.
