Marijke Woodruff, Chief People Officer of Health Carousel honored as finalist in C-Suite Awards
October 30, 2020
Health Carousel announced today that our very own Chief People Officer, Marijke Woodruff, has been honored by the Cincinnati Business Courier on their 2021 C-Suite Awards list!
Now in its sixth year, the program honors top-level executives who’ve shown outstanding leadership and led stellar performance at Greater Cincinnati businesses and nonprofits. The group of 41 finalists in five categories was chosen by a panel of outside judges.
Marijke serves as an incredible role model for women in leadership. Her "people strategy" has delivered the talent, engagement, and performance necessary to support growth at 6X the industry average year after year, and to successfully integrate four acquisitions.
“I am inspired, humbled and committed to what we do on our HR team every day; to have a positive impact to our company’s growth, our communities and our employees’ experience. This is a recognition to share and celebrate with my whole team. They make an impact through their commitment to excellence, innovation and serving others and their passion and love for what they do.” - Marijke Woodruff, Chief People Officer of Health Carousel
Her leadership has also resulted in our 2019 recognition in the Recruiting Innovation Awards, the 2020 Medical Mutual Pillar Awards for Community Service, and as a Healthiest Employer and Best Places to Work year-after-year.
At the very beginning of the safer-at home orders, Marijke spearheaded a COVID-19 Business Continuity Team for 450+ employees at a time when healthcare facilities needed increased staff within days. She ensured all teams could effectively perform while staying safe, and with zero disruption to the services we provide.
Marijke is also an active American Red Cross board member and continues to be highly involved in the growth of Health Carousel's social impact strategy.
“Marijke is an inspiration for her peers and employees due to her leadership style, high energy, and the results she produces. She lives and breathes the company mission each day and is always focused on our talented team and how we can achieve more and live more.” - Bill DeVille, CEO of Health Carousel
The Courier will announce the final winners in a special section of the Dec. 4 print edition, along with information about the finalists and profiles of the winners.
Congratulations to all finalists!
