Medical Staffing Options Relocates to Columbus Arena District Office, Keeps Growing
January 9, 2018
Columbus-based Medical Staffing Options (MSO), a division of Cincinnati-based Health Carousel, LLC, focuses on the recruitment and placement of qualified travel nurses across the United States. MSO recently moved to a new office in Columbus’ popular Arena District.
New Year, New Office for Medical Staffing Options
Formerly located in the Westerville area, the MSO staff now calls the Buggyworks office complex home. This move reflects not only the need for more space as new recruiters are added to the team, but also Health Carousel’s commitment to making the MSO office a top place to work in Columbus.“We are trying to build a magnetic culture, which is attractive to the best and brightest talent in the marketplace,” MSO Vice President Bob Brayer said. “To that end, we selected office space that is modern, open, attractive, and satisfying for today’s generation of employees.”In 2017, MSO was recognized by Columbus Business First as a Fast 50 company for the fifth-consecutive year and was acquired by Health Carousel. Health Carousel was recognized by the Cincinnati Business Courier as a Fast 55 company for the second consecutive year, and by Staffing Industry Analysts as the 20th-largest travel nurse staffing company and seventh-fastest-growing healthcare staffing firm in America. The plan for MSO in 2018? Continue that rapid growth.
MSO to Hire 50 Travel Nurse Recruiters This Year
Today, Health Carousel employs approximately 150 recruiters in its travel nurse staffing business line, with about 50 working at its Columbus-based MSO division. Because the demand for healthcare staffing services remains very high—and there is a compelling need to meet the demands of Health Carousel’s blue-chip clients—the company plans to hire another 150 recruiters in 2018, including 50 in Columbus. This will allow Health Carousel to better meet the short-term staffing needs of client hospitals, ensure patient access to qualified healthcare professionals, and alleviate the chronic national shortage of registered nurses.“Our vision is for every U.S. patient to have access to a qualified healthcare professional when and where they need them,” Health Carousel CEO Bill DeVille said. “As we work towards this, our team will continue to grow to reflect the needs of the industry.”
